Dorset Youth for Christ

Aaron Rigby, a member of BEC, heads up the work of Dorset Youth for Christ (DYFC). He is supported in this work by another BEC member, Harry Vincent. Harry has now completed his degree and is working fulltime with DYFC and they have other new members of staff as their work grows. They help young people develop lasting attributes to enable them to reach their full potential. Their youth projects include community activities and church based work. They also work in local schools delivering Christian Union meetings, taking Assemblies and lessons, as well as offering mentoring, advice and guidance.

A very successful initiative has been Saturday evening events for young people called Resound. These have been well attended and many young people have taken their first steps of faith. Their goal is to see young lives changed by Jesus.
