Welcome to a page with all the info about what’s coming this CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR!

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

CAROLS ON THE GREEN

Saturday 9th December, 6pm

Carols on the Green is an outdoor carol service for the community.

We are pleased to have Blandford's Stour Valley Band and the Scout group helping us with the festivities again. We’ll be singing some familiar Christmas carols, listening to the Christmas story narrated through the Bible, a children's nativity scene, hot dogs, mulled wine and mince pies!

We will have some costumes available for children to dress up in for the nativity scene, but please do encourage them to come in their own outfits if they have one at home.

Carols on the Green is held on the large grassy area in the middle of the housing estate near Lidl (see map).

Make sure you wrap up warm!

We'd like to invite you to BEC's Christmas Carol Service!

There will be some familiar Christmas carols, choir singing, readings, and a short talk. For families with young children, there will also be some packs made up for you to collect on the way in.

Come along and bring your friends!

FAMILY CHRISTINGLE

Sunday 24th DECEMBER, 4:00pm

This fun and creative service is a great way for young and old alike to engage with Jesus this Christmas.

Each child will be given a bag with all they need to create their own Christingle during our time together and there’ll be some Christmas carols for everyone to join in with too.

Everyone is welcome to stay for some festive refreshments after the service.

All children must come with an adult and must be booked in advance.

CHRISTMAS DAY CELEBRATION!

MONDAY 25TH DECEMBER, 10:30am

We want to invite you to take a moment away from chopping veg or unwrapping presents to celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We want to thank God for sending His Son to rescue us.

There’ll also be an opportunity for the children to show off their presents and probably some bad Christmas cracker jokes too!

Why don’t you also wear your best/worst Christmas jumper for the occasion too?!

NEW YEAR'S EVE COMMUNION

Sunday 31st December, 10:30am

This service is an opportunity to take a breath amidst the busyness that Christmas brings and share communion together.

There will be a few songs of worship, and a short reflection on a Bible reading before we take communion.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT SOME POINT THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON.

hAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!
